The 58-storey mixed use skyscraper Trump Tower, the 52nd tallest building in New York, at the corner of 5th Avenue and east 56th Street, was completed in November 1983. The black reflective glass hides a reinforced concrete core. One corner (seen here is 'shaved off' at right angles to create interest. Stepped cut-away boxes supporting a tree garden at the base adds further interest. The tower is the location of the NBC Television show 'The Apprentice'.
