He was wounded at Port Republic and Antie-tam and transferred to the invalid corps in December, was mustered out of the service June 26, 1864, at Wash-ington, D. C. He was married at Perry, Lake County, Ohio, November15, 1868, and has two daughters living. He has been em-ployed as a carriage-maker since the war, at Cleveland,Kirtland, Painesville, Youngstown, all in the State of Ohio,Meridian, Mississippi, and other places too numerous tomention.
