ECKERNFORDE, Germany (May 10, 2017) Members of Mine Countermeasures (MCM) Platoon 802, assigned to Explosive Ordnance Disposal Mobile Unit 8, conduct diving operations with German and Croatian EOD clearance divers a trilateral exercise that focuses on MCM procedures including live mine disposal detonations and maritime combat skills. 6th Fleet, headquartered in Naples, Italy, conducts the full spectrum of joint and naval operations, often in concert with allied, joint and interagency partners in order to advance national interests and security and stability in Europe and Africa.
