Rheinfall on the Rhine River

Spectacular waterfall just outside of Schaffhausen in a small village in the municipality of Neuhausen. Above the waterfalls sits Laufen Castle which dates back to 858 AD. The castle is now a tourist attraction and contains a youth hostel and össli Wörth restaurant sits on the northern bank of the Rheinfall Waterfall with fantastic views of the waterfall.
