Air Force F-15E Strike Eagles assigned to the 391st Fighter Squadron, Mountain Home Air Force Base, Idaho, and F-16 Fighting Falcons assigned to the 125th Fighter Squadron, Tulsa Air National Guard, Oklahoma, undergo preflight checks during Checkered Flag 23-1 at Tyndall AFB, Florida, Nov. 4, 2022. Checkered Flag is a large-force aerial exercise held at Tyndall which fosters readiness and interoperability through the incorporation of 4th-and 5th-generation aircraft during air-to-air combat training.
