Two activists who are attempting to sail a small boat from London to Syria have been forced to land at the beach near St Margrets Bay in Kent. The pair, Simone Moore aged 31 and Maria Gallastegui, left the Southbank of the Thames on Sat 12 July have already been forced to take shelter in Ramsgate, Margate, and Gravesend. Their small craft has no engine, no radio and no cover to protect them from the elements.
