To mark the seventh friday of Lent, small homme altars are set up in some of the more traditional neighborhoods of Merida, Mexico. They are here to  commemorate the suffering of the Virgin Mary. Parishioners go from house to house with a statue of the Virgin Mary and a cross with Jesus, they pray and sing religious cantics for the occasion
