BREMERTON, Wash. (Sept. 20, 2018) Cmdr. James Rorer, the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS John C. Stennis’ (CVN 74) aircraft intermediate maintenance department officer, speaks with Rear Adm. Lorin Selby, chief engineer of Naval Sea Systems Command. Selby was aboard John C. Stennis to discuss current benefits and future applications of the additive manufacturing equipment installed on the ship in April as part of a Deputy Chief of Naval Operations for Fleet Readiness and Logistics additive manufacturing acceleration initiative.
