Located in Woods Hole near Falmouth, it overlooks the southwest region of Cape Cod, Martha's Vineyard and Nonamesset Island. Established in 1826 the tower was replaced in 1876. Beautiful view from here and close to downtown Falmouth and Woods Hole. By 1985 the light was automated and the last keeper retired. In 2012 the house needed serious mantenance and was no longer used as a residence.
