Mr. Brunswick thinks the fall stock promises extremely well. The plant market is quiet now. The stock of blooming plants has grown steadily stronger since the end of May. Today there is a good supply of nearly all soft-wooded blooming plants and vines, sufficient to meet the seashore de- mand of late June. J. F. Neidinger is in town, looking well. Pliil- FORT WAYNE, IND. The Market. Receipts for last week were heavy in spite of the hot weather. The reason for this was the large number of weddings, which called for decorations at church and home, as well as for bouquet work, and the heavy amount of funeral work the tirst part of the week. Transient trade fell off, as a result of the uncom- fortably hot weather. The quality of cut flowers, especially outdoor flowers, wa* affected to a great degree. Outdoor stock showed the effects of the recent severe rains. Carnations were probably the worst sufferers of the greenhouse flowers. They are considerably smaller and faded in color.
