There again we foundthe same rival firms, as at Blagovestchensk. Havino-bought potatoes, tlour, cooking titensils, and otherodds and ends, we paid a visit to the Governors wife, 64 AT VLADIVOSTOK 65 Madame Tchichagoff, who received us very kindly ;her husband was away inspecting his district.
