Dennis, of Beulah, says that, duringfour c iiisecutive days in the first iveek of May, therewas a continuous flight of these butterflies in a south-easterly direction, with wind blowing from the this spring were decidedly more abundant than last year. The deaths of a goodmany cattle in the early part of the year were, I believe, accelerated, if not diiectly caused bythis pest.
