Was employed as break-man on the Boston and Maine Railroad,and went out for three months with Com-pany Iv, of the Lawrence Light Infantry,served with Captain J. L. Pickney. Wentout in the nine months call and served■under Captain Hamilton, and the Regi-ment went to Suffolk, Va. Came to cityin May, 1866; on the Chicago and North-western Railroad.
