Fossil of extinct Tetragonolepis semicinctus fish found in Germany dating 180 million years ago, from the Toarcian age of the Early Jurassic. It measures 8 cm in diameter and has a restored tail. This discoidal-shaped fish has also been discovered in France and England. Collection Jean-Philippe et Francois-Xavier Blouet, paleontologists.
