An officer's shashka M 1909 with the Order of St. Anne awarded for Bravery. A single-edged blade with fullers on both sides and three additional grooves. The obverse side etched with the Czar's cipher "N II" in a floral cartouche. The reverse side with the Russian double-headed eagle. The Cyrillic manufacturer's mark "Schaaf and Sons - St. Petersburg" with the double-headed eagle on the ricasso. Brass knuckle-bow hilt with floral ornamentation, the cipher "N II" for Nicholas II, and the Cyrillic engraving "For Bravery" on both sides.
