Again the author calls attention to the fact that all these ex-amples are based on a condition of still air and tightly sealed en-closing surfaces, a condition which never exists in our buildingsbecause the walls, ceilings and floors are porous and the windowsand doors are surrounded by man}^ cracks and crevices throughwhich the air leaks in or is forced out as may be determined bytheir location in relation to the neutral zone.
