Mr. Landis was married on October 17,1872, to Matilda Heyberry, of this union has been born five children :Win. G., John, James G-, Carrie, and Man*. In the summer of 1895 Mr. Landis madea trip to Europe, visiting not only the prin-cipal countries and capitals of the continent,but also extending his visit to the HolyLand.
