The Xifré building, also known as the Xifré hospital, is a public building in Arenys de Mar built on the initiative of the Indian José Xifré y Casas as a “hospital for the sick poor”, with a public deed granted by the notary Joan Prats on December 27, 1849 , and a final cost of about 500,000 pesetas.
