In 1685 Jane Deane, his daughter, died, leaving legaciesto her mother, Mrs. Wootton, and her brother, Henry. In 1697 a Joseph Deane of Henley died, leaving sons—Aaron, John, Christopher, and Joseph. There were three Richard Deanes in succession at Caver-sham : the first dying in 1714, the second in 1718. In 1583 John Deane, als Collins, of Stokenchurch, inAston Rowant, dies. He is Richards son. Christopher, thesecond son, is to be trustee for Anthony and his brotherEdward. These names raise the question if we do not here find thetrue descent of the Deanes of Pinnock. All these are of theNorthampton stock, it may be remembered.
