1934 - A portrait of Queen Astrid of Belgium (formerly Astrid of Sweden) , 1905-1935 , who was killed in a motoring accident on August 29th 1935, pictured with her children ( Joséphine-Charlotte, Albert and Baudouin (standing). Her husband, King Leopold was driving the car when the vehicle hit a parapet and entered a lake. Their chauffeur was sitting in he back of the Packard One-Twenty convertible and was thrown into a tree resulting in her death from the impact .The Belgian postal authorities issued a postage stamp showing her portrait outlined in black, known as the Astrid Mourning issue
