Front view of Klooster Brakkenstein and the adjacent church. Klooster 'Nieuw Brakkenstein', by architect C. Franssen, was built in 1908 on ground, donated by Baron Rudolf from Hövell to Westerflier, for the fathers (Sacramentines) of the congregation of the All Saints Sacrament (Societas Sanctissimi Sacramenti - ). The public church, also by architect C. Franssen, was built in 1913 as a single -aisled church in Neo -Romanesque style
