In 1855 he againvisited Europe, resid-ing for three years inHome, where he exe-cuted his superiorstatues of *Una andthe Lion, St. Eliza-be t h o f Hungary(three copies in mar-ble), The Dead PearlDiver, and an idealhead of Milton. revisited Romein 1859, returning toAmerica in thefollowing year, and resided during the remainder of his life at Portland and IMiila-delphia. died in the latter city in 18G]..
