Itwas whilst on a visit to Mr. Fawkes at Farnley ^ Sketch of , in 1805 1806, that a fellow-visitor took a sketch of the artist—it shows us a little Jewish-nosed man in an ill-cutcoat, striped waistcoat, and enormous frilled shirt,with feet and hands notably small.
