When the plants are two or three inches high transplant into trenches, at a distance of from six to ten in- ches apart, according to the variety. Keep free from weeds until the plants are about a foot nigh, when they may be earthed up for blanch- ing. The soil should be rich, and it is very important that it should be moist. Boston Market.
