Cabo San Lucas in Mexico is a city in the Southern tip of the Baja California Peninsula. Its beautiful beaches, warm water and party scene make it a popular tourist destination. Although some sailors landed on this deserted tip of land many times before it was only in 1917 the place was built up, when an American company started a tuna fishing enterprise. At the end of the 20th century it expanded into one of the premier tourist destinations of Mexico. Mexico uses the rock formation with the natural bridge as one of its icons and claims it as one of its natural wonders.
