Thisfarm, which is locatednear the southern bor-der of the town, abouta mile and a half fromthe Academy village,and six miles fromHaverhill, was pur-chased by Mr. Saw-yers father, who wasa native of Atkinson,reared on another of its excellent farms, in 1853, and hasbeen materially improved since that time. The land hasbeen brought into an excellent state of cultivation, and thebuildings are among the most commodious and complete. Herbert N. Sawyer.
