HS2 have installed pipework along the railway embankment from their site in South Ruislip to the Yeading Brook in Ruislip as part of their works for the controversial High Speed 2 rail link from London to Birmingham. The pipe is being used to remove groundwater from the HS2 site and four out of five pipes were discharging straight into the Yeading Brook today. Local environmentalists have allegedly been unable to locate an Environment Agency permit that gives HS2 permission to do this and are concerned that the water being discharged
