The Sidewinders compose and perform their own renditions of popular songs by artists like Michael Jackson, Fitz and the Tantrums, Miranda Lambert, and others. Named for the rattlesnake symbol of the 67th Troop Command to which the band is assigned, the Sidewinders perform at celebrations and events across the state, where they often engage audiences with interactive choreography. The Sidewinders also participate in an annual “winter tour” which takes them to several high schools across the state.
