Statue to the aviator E. Penaux, winner of the Grande Michelin Prize 1911. On he extinct volcanoe of the Puy de Dôme in the Monts Dômes, just west of Clermont-Ferrand in the Central Massif, France. Puy-de-Dôme, a cumulo-dome (tholoid) volcano, is one of the youngest volcanoes in the Chaîne des Puys region of Massif Central in south-central France.
