A single-family home constructed out of shipping containers is seen under construction in Williamsburg Brooklyn
A single-family home constructed out of shipping containers is seen under construction in the Williamsburg neighborhood of Brooklyn on Tuesday, February 18, 2014. The private mansion, designed by the architectural firm LOT-EK is made of 21 containers stacked onto a 25 X 100 corner lot. The design of the home echoes the industrial, working-class nature of the neighborhood despite the number of wealthy moving in. (© Richard B. Levine)
