Lamar anda few years later in 1859 its publication was suspended. The Savannah Museum appeared in 1820 as a daily edited by Kep-pel & Bartlett. It was in existence for some years, but it failed to findthe road to success, and was discontinued. The Morning Neivs made its first appearance on January 15, was issued from the premises 111 Bay street, where it had its quartersuntil it moved to where it is now published. The gifted and lamentedColonel W. T. Thompson was its first editor, and
