Pterodactylus flying over a Dakosaurus attacking a marine reptile.

Pterodactylus flying over a Dakosaurus attacking a marine reptile. Pterodactylus was a small, late Jurassic pterosaur with a wingspan of about 3 1/2 feet. They are found mostly in Germany and Europe. Europe at this time mostly consisted of islands and archipelagos. In the seas swam marine crocodiles, whose feet adapted to flippers, such as Dakosaurus. Dakosaurus was about 10-14 feet long.
