Door to abandoned dilapidated NASA satellite tracking station at the Lion Club on Satellite Road in Pouch Cove, Newfoundland & Labrador, Canada

Hidden in plain sight by the lion club parking lot was the NASA satellite tracking station painted in blue. The station was built in 1960 and was one of 12 stations constructed as part of the Satellite Tracking and Data Acquisition Network (STANDAN). During its operations, it aided communications and tracked spaceships from NASA. The station was shut down in 1983.
