In 1890, feeling the need of a change for the benefitof his health, he determined to return to love for good horses had been indulged to a con-siderable extent while in business in Concord, and uponcommencing farm operations upon the old Jacob Gerrishplace at North Boscawen, he first turned his attention tothe breeding of trotting horses, which he pursued tor atime with success, but on the decline of this branch of.
