A second dagger. No. 812, which isIf in. broad, has had the point broken off, and is now only 9 in. long, butit appears to have been 11 in. long. A third dagger (not engraved) is8*6 in. long, and measures 1^ in. across at the broadest part. A fourth,No. 813, has become completely curled up in the conflagration, but appearsto have been above 11 in. long. Of the fifth, sixth, and seventh daggers No. 811. No. No. 81t. ^i^ Nos. 811-814. I only discovered fragments, such as No. 814: these are from 4 to 5i- But in the mass of lance-heads and battle-axes. No. 815, whichhave been fused together by the intense heat of the conflagration,another entire dagger is visible in the front of the engraving. All thesedaggers have handles from 2 to 2*8 in. long, the end of which is bentround at a right angle. These handles must at one time have been ii. 3. 3
