BIZARRE BOOKBINDING USING HUMAN SKIN - anthropodermic bibliopegy - book bound in the skin of the Red Barn Murderer, William Corder in 1827 at Polstead, Suffolk, England. when a young woman, Maria Marten, daughter of Thomas Marten, a molecatcher, was shot dead by her lover William Corder at the Red Barn, a local landmark. He was tried at Shire Hall, Bury St Edmunds, and publicly hung and his body used for medical research.
