Novel features, whichGeneral Manager Huff introduced in conjunction with theskating rink, are band concerts and moving pictures, thelatter being presented while the skating is in progress. One important point of the roller skate question must notbe overloked, namely, the skate itself. Convenient and cheaptransportation, a handsome pavilion, polite attendants andelimination of all tendency to rowdyism, are all necessaryfactors toward success, but their good effect is nullified ifthe skates are hard running or liable to breakage on ac-count of flimsy construction.
