The White Tower Pleasure Beach Casino, in the background of the view, is a Grade 2 Listed einforced concrete listed building, dating to 1937-40 and designed in the International Modern Style by Joseph Emberton for Leonard Thompson, owner of the Pleasure Beach. Despite its name the Casino, rather than gambling, houses a restaurant and other catering facilities.
