This is a typical London home in a Victorian terrace with a beautifully converted loft and extension. The old property was stripped back to the bare fabric, demolishing the small additions to the rear of the house and extending up to form new rooms at the upper levels, the steeply pitched gable roof form was extended back from the front elevation to the rear of the property to create a new study with views out across the surrounding rooftops. A new bathroom and a new kitchen were inserted within the fabric of the old house and a new glass addition at the rear of the house extended the kitchen area sufficiently to allow for a new dining space.
