To His Honor the Mayor and the Mnnieipal Councilof the City of iVczc Bedford: Gentlemen : The Board of Park Commisioners has the honor to svil)-mit herewith the 29th Annual Report of the Department ofParks together with the financial statement for the fiscal yearending November 30, 1922. The Board was organized for the year as follows: Mr. William P. Covell was elected chairman, and F. Caswell, Secretary. The personnel of the Board remained the same as lastyear. The ai)pointment of Mr. William F. Caswell for aterm of five years to succeed himself was duly confirmed bythe City Government. The Commission in its previous reports has frequentlyrecommended the purchase of the land south of KemptonStreet adjoining the north line of Buttonwood Park. Theacquisition of this land has been made possible during thepast year by purchase through a special appropriation. Thistract consists of two hundred and sixty rods of
