Typewriter salesman. Travelling US salesman in the 1910s with a camel carrying boxes of Remington typewriters and an advertising sign. He is in the Balochistan region of what is now Pakistan, an area then under British rule. Remington typewriters, produced commercially from 1873, were originally made by the company founded in New York, USA, by Eliphalet Remington. From 1886, they were made by the Standard Typewriter Manufacturing Company, known from 1902 as the Remington Typewriter Company.
