KENNEDY SPACE CENTER, FLA. - A suit technician helps STS-114 Mission Specialist Soichi Noguchi suit up in the Operations and Checkout Building for the trip to Launch Pad 39B for a mock launch countdown culminating in a simulated main engine cutoff. Noguchi is with the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency. The dress rehearsal is part of Terminal Countdown Demonstration Test (TCDT) activities held prior to each Space Shuttle flight. It provides the crew of each mission an opportunity to participate in various simulated countdown activities, including equipment familiarization and emergency egress
