Pictured is the Western front of Bath Abbey showing intricate carvings and its unique ladders of descending and ascending Angels. The West front was originally constructed in 1520, during the 1990s a major restoration and cleaning work was carried out on the exterior stonework in order to remove centuries of dirt.
