Sant Esteve de Sallent is a Romanesque church of the late eleventh century, the castle was part of this population. It is a circular building, the largest of the twelve unique documented in Catalonia in this style. It has a semicircular apse and two apses in radial oriented to the east, an austere decor of Lombard arches under the cornice of the three. It is located in the old castle grounds, in the part outside the edge of the cliff over the river Llobregat, which makes it clearly visible from afar and, in particular, from the Axis of Llobregat. Although the church was initially under the patronage of Sant Esteve, more commonly known as Sant Sebastia, his subsequent dedication.
