He re-enlisted in Company H, Kine-teenth Massachusetts, for three years ofthe war, was in all the l)attles with thatRegiment, on the Peninsular and laterwent as Sergeant of Company H, when theNineteenth re-enlisted, after two years ofservice they came home on thirty daysfurlough, came to Salem ; Sergeant Doug-las came with them as Sergeant-Major ofthe Regiment.
