There hasarisen quite a controversy relative tothe proper manner in which to set thevalves. I claim that the proper meth-od is to set the high pressure line andline, thus giving the low pressure l/iof an inch lead. There are a number, however, who claim that the low pres-sure valves should be set line andline, claiming that when the valves areset in this manner that the engines givemuch more »atl»factory service. If he will place theengine to it will blow, and then raise thesteam chest on that side he will fmd thai did thirty years ago on a glaring Mc-Kay and Aldus when throwing woodspeeding around Suncook Loop.
