Stephanie Murphy is the first Vietnamese-American woman and the second Vietnamese-American person overall (after Republican Joseph Cao of Louisiana) to be elected to Congress. She represents Florida's 7th Congressional District, which includes much of downtown, northern Orlando, and all of Winter Park, Maitland, Sanford and Altamonte Springs.
