Detroit, Michigan - The barge Margaret, carrying four million gallons of diesel fuel, run aground in Lake St. Clair. The Coast Guard said no fuel was leaking. Environmentalists have long worried about the tremendous ecological damage of an oil spill in the Great Lakes. The fuel barge was stranded only a mile or two above a major drinking water intake for the city of Detroit.
