Water sanitation chemicals production. Worker mixing chemicals used in the production of the water sanitation product FloraDox. FloraDox is part of the Biox range of chlorine dioxide products produced by the Scotmas company. Biox is a low-alkaline precursor that produces chlorine dioxide when mixed with acid. Chlorine dioxide is a powerful oxidizing agent that is used in a range of water treatment processes. FloraDox is marketed to help provide clean water for intensive farming systems. It includes additional chemicals to help promote microflora in the gastrointestinal tract. This chemical production is taking place at a Scotmas production facility in Scotland. Scotmas, founded in 1998, is an international business headquartered in Scotland. Photographed in 2016.
