The Tees Transporter Bridge, straddling the River Tees between Middlesbrough and Port Clarence. The bridge operates a gondola, suspended below the main structure, to ferry vehicles and pedestrians across the river. This can be seen in action in this image, as it moves across to the Middlesbrough boarding gate.
